Gancho

Gancho is 14.6m steel fishing vessel designed by Chris Williams, Australia. She has 225hp cummins C series. She sleeps five people and has a full galley, shower toilet. Gancho was steamed to New Zealand from Tasmania in 2021.

She is surveyed for Fishing.

Gancho is based around the East Coast and Upper South Island, wetfishing and crayfishing.

Sam completed 5 years as a heavy diesel mechanic then went pearl diving in Broome, Western Australia for nine years.

A fisherman at heart, Sam from 13 fished with his Dad from Stewart Island to the Chathams and East Cape learning the ropes.

Sam and Megan returned from Australia to Wetfish and Crayfish around the North Island on Gancho.
