Gancho

Gancho is 14.6m steel fishing vessel designed by Chris Williams, Australia. She has 225hp cummins C series. She sleeps five people and has a full galley, shower toilet.

She is surveyed for Fishing, Passenger, Non-Passenger, Towing.

Gancho is currently being sailed back to New Zealand from Launceston, Tazmania. Gancho will be based around the East Coast and Upper South Island, wetfishing and crayfishing. She is also commissioned for commercial work.

Tom Hageratts started with Splashzone Marine Ltd at the age of 17 and worked both Flat Point and Gisborne until Richard suggested it was probably time for a spot of overseas travelling, and helped him find a place with Paspaley Pearls. Now Tom is back in Gisborne as Skipper of Pearler.
