Richard Kibblewhite

Richard Kibblewhite

Skipper

Richard Kibblewhite enjoys his stint behind the wheel for a few months cray fishing at Whangaehu. It is a welcome relief from the day to day business stresses, and allows him to be thinking only of tractor and boat, best launching spot, best spot for the pots, dodging the inshore swell, hunting the crustacean.

Winter Decky

“Why don’t you come cray fishing for the winter?”

“OK” was how Bo became 2014 winter decky.  Bo is enjoying the work and looking at the cliffs from a different angle, and taking some great photos when he gets a chance.

Adam Clement

Adam Clement

2nd Mate

Adam joined our Company straight from Chanel College, Masterton in 2014. He spent 8 months in Gisborne working on FV “Pearler”, wetfishing and crayfishing.

Adam returned to Masterton and joined our team, crayfishing, wetfishing and paua diving on SplashzoneII, Jeany-K and Waterways. Fishing from Flat Point, Ocean Beach and New Plymouth.

Adam is an integral part in our team, he is very keen to learn. He has learnt the old fashion way of how to make pots and nets, pot welding, engine maintenance and is always ready to go fishing.

In his spare time, Adam often goes fishing or diving at Mataikona, Castlepoint and Ocean Beach. He would like to gain more experience by fishing and diving overseas. Eventually Adam would like to run his own boat.
